What is the difference between a Travel Permit and a Special Events permit? A Travel Permit is required for all ice sessions that are not assigned by the SPMHA. Special Events are team events that require minor hockey insurance (could be on or off ice). A full description of each can be seen in the Managers Manual under "SPMHA - General / Policies/Manuals" on the left hand bar.
