If interested in AA & AAA (U13-U18 only) you need to register through our elite stream program (Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club). To do so, visit spkac.ab.ca.

*NOTE*
- All fees payable by credit card, cash, cheque or e-transfer (If paying by credit card, note that there is a 3.25% + $1.50 per transaction service charge. If paying by cash or cheque, must be mailed or dropped off at the SPMHA main office.)
- If paying by cheque or credit card, you can choose to pay in four (4) equal installment payments. (1st payment due upon registration, 2nd on July 15th, 3rd on August 15th, 4th on September 15th. If paying by e-transfer or cash, all payments must be made in full)
- Early bird pricing is in effect until July 15th, 2022. As of July 15th, all fees increase by $100. This additional amount is non-refundable.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS
All below documents are also available during the registration process, but it will be much easier if you complete ahead of time. Note that Hockey Canada has a new system (Spordle) which consolidates the previous Hockey Canada Registry and eHockey sites. As such, all registrants must create a Spordle account ahead of registering in order to obtain your Hockey Canada ID#.
RETURNING PLAYERS
- Access your Spordle account to obtain your players' Hockey Canada ID#(s)
- Ensure that all required certifications (Respect in Sport, Coaching Certifications etc.) are still valid. If not, must renew before season start. Valid Respect in Sport - Parent certificate number required for registration.
- Completed Medical Information Form (1 per participant)

NEW PLAYERS
- Certificate number proving completion of Respect in Sport - Parent Program
- If you don't have an existing Hockey Canada Spordle account, create one HERE (**NOTE YOU DO NOT REGISTER YOUR PLAYER THROUGH SPORDLE)
- Link your participating member(s) and obtain their Hockey Canada ID#(s). If you are unable to add your player through Spordle, contact the Respect In Sport help line at 1-866-956-9791.
- Proof of Residency Documents (drivers license, utility bill etc. showing your name and residential address within our boundary zone)
- Age verification documents (birth certificate or passport) scan to be uploaded during registration process
- Completed Medical Information Form (1 per participant)

PLAYERS TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER ASSOCIATION
The following steps must be completed BEFORE beginning the registration process.
- You must complete the Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form (1 per participant). Please be sure to forward your submission to admin@spmha.ab.ca (within the form itself)**
- You will need to provide proof of residency documents (drivers license, utility bill etc. showing your name and residential address within our boundary zone)
- Begin Registration Process HERE
** Note that as of June 7, 2021, Hockey Canada has paused the player transfer process to address a software issue, so player transfer requests may be delayed until they have sorted the issue out. The SPMHA registrar will contact you to tell you when you can proceed with registration.
Once we receive the above information, we will initiate the player transfer. Players moving WITH parents can be processed after June 1st. Players moving WITHOUT parents can be processed AFTER August 1st. We will contact you once your player account has been transferred and you are eligible to register with Sherwood Park. At that point, you will be able to begin the SPMHA registration portion. You will require:
- Access your Spordle account to obtain your players' Hockey Canada ID#(s)
- Ensure that all required certifications (Respect in Sport, Coaching Certifications etc.) are still valid. If not, must renew before season start.
- Completed Medical Information Form (1 per participant)
- Certificate number proving completion of Respect in Sport - Parent Program

VOLUNTEER SIGNUP
SPMHA cannot operate programs for 1,500+ players without a great volunteer base. We encourage you to take this opportunity while registering for the new season to put your name forth for one of our many volunteer roles. At this point, we are building our volunteer list and will be in touch well before the season starts. Thank you in advance. We couldn’t do it without you!
