HOW TO SIZE A HOCKEY JERSEY

All players will need to have a practice jersey for all of their camps and practices.  SPMHA does not want players using their game jerseys during practice.  Game jerseys are expensive and wearing them during practice introduces unneccesary wear and tear.  You will quite often receive a practice jersey while participating in a skills camp, or your team may choose to purchase practice jerseys for the whole team.  Knowing your proper size will help you get a good fitting practice jersey that doesn't impede your performance.  If you don't have the measurements needed below, you can quickly find them at home. Put on all of your upper body hockey gear and measure the locations A, B and C.

A Chest Width 1" below the armhole
B Jersey Length Bottom to highest shoulder point
C Sleeve Length Center of neck to sleeve opening
D Arm Opening Typically for goalie sizes only

If your chest measurement is close or on one of the measurements listed on the sizing chart, we recommend choosing one size larger. A jersey too small can restrict your range of motion and be uncomfortable during gameplay. If you want a looser fitting jersey, go one size up as well.
